5:02am
found two people dead on the freeway. both had been shot. >> we are looking into it to see if they were shot while entering the freeway. because this is a freeway off of here. on jackson street or if they were traveling on the freeway from a location which would be south of our location. we're at jackson street here. so maybe they entered the freeway at another point. that is what we are trying to sort through the problem. >> reporter: both victims are being described as african american men in their early to mid 20s. both were in a white porshe. police believe the passenger after being shot got out of the car and was then hit by one or more passing vehicles. they still don't know where they came from or where they were headed. >> they are dressed in standard clothing. we did not see any paraphernalia would indicate they were attending the warriors game. >> reporter: there were apparently several witnesses and lots of physical evidence.
